Stovetop: Place unopened bag of tamales in boiling water, turn water down to a simmer for 20 minutes from frozen and 15 minutes if thawed. Only 4 or 5 inches of water are necessary as the tamales cook in the bag.
Microwave: Best if thawed prior to cooking.
Poke a couple of holes in the bag or make a slit. Microwave 3-5 minutes depending on strength of microwave. Caution: Bag and contents will be hot, allow time to cool before handling. If bag is open prior to heating, only cook by microwave or steam. Cook to internal temperature of 165°F.

These have an authentic taste and are super easy to prepare. The pork was our favorite - the chicken was bland and was missing the "kick".

As always, the tamales are very good, especially the pork ones. I’d really like you to them in threes per pack rather than six. Six packs of three rather than three packs of six.

Disappointed! I thought we would try the handmade tamales first before ordering something else. The tamales were light on filling...and the bag leaked.

Handmade Tamales
I love tamales, but good ones are hard to fine even in the finer Mexican restaurants. All three styles were delicious. My husband and I prepared 3 ea for dinner paired with beans (black or refried) and avocado salad. Absolutely wonderful!
