This is a seriously good idea. Sweet, rich, soft shell crab is bathed in a light, crispy batter - the ideal complement to the sweet crab. Easy to prepare, with a variety of options, this is sure to become a hit. A lovely light lunch, appetizer,or centerpiece to an al fresco dinner. Simply bake and serve! Deep fry: Heat oil to 350°F and place belly side down. Turn once during cooking. Turn halfway through cooking time. If thawed, cook 3-4 minutes. If frozen, cook 7-8 minutes.

Pan fry: Cook in 1/8"- 1/4" oil in pan. Heat pan to medium-low temperature. Turn halfway through cooking time. If thawed, cook 7-8. If frozen, cook 8-10 minutes.

Bake: Preheat oven to 450°F. Spray or coat pan with oil and place on middle oven rack. Turn halfway through cooking time. 14-15 minutes from frozen, baking from thawed is not recommended.


Soft Crabs, Batter (Water, Unbleached Wheat Flour, Wheat Starch, Rice Flour, Maize Flour, Raising Agent [Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate], Salt, Food Gum), Pre-Dust (Modified Tapioca Starch, Tapioca Starch, Salt). Product is par-fried in soybean oil.
