Easter Brunch Essentials


Get your brunch started off the right way, with this collection of essentials. They'll love our buttery Scottish salmon and delicious crab cakes, and our Easter Basket Cake is a fantastic Easter dessert. The cake is as delectable as it is beautiful, and it comes with coconut “grass” and sugared almond “Easter eggs” in bright pastel colors to decorate the cake as you like. Just add some bagels and eggs to this collection, and you're ready to go! Serves 6-8.

1 - Mackenzie Scottish Smoked Salmon (1 lb.): delicately smoked salmon sliced to translucent thinness with a buttery soft texture
18 - Mini Crab Cakes (.75 oz. each): loaded with crab meat and just the right amount of our signature binders and seasonings
1 - Easter Basket Cake (8”): classic yellow cake with a rich buttercream icing from a generations-old recipe. Includes coconut “grass” and almond “Easter eggs” to decorate as you like

Mackenzie Scottish Smoked Salmon: Thaw under refrigeration. Bring to room temperature and serve.
Salmon can be frozen on the day of receipt for up to 3 months, or kept refrigerated unopened for up to 3 weeks.

Mini Crab Cakes:
Baking from Frozen (Preferred Method): Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a cookie sheet with a thin layer of non-stick cooking spray. Bake for approximately 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly on top. For an extra crispy crab cake, turn on the broiler for the last two minutes of baking.
Pan Fry: Thaw completely under refrigeration. Preheat pan on medium heat with tsp. of oil or butter. Cook covered in frying pan at medium temperature for approximately 2-3 minutes per side.
Crab cake may be cooked from a frozen state using a lower temperature and cooking for a longer period. Product must reach an internal temperature of 160°F prior to consumption.

Easter Basket Cake: Remove all packaging prior to thawing.
After completely thawed, gently place sugared almonds on the cake and sprinkle with coconut “grass” as desired.

Mackenzie Scottish Smoked Salmon: Salmon, Salt.
Although extra care is taken to remove all bones, some may remain.

Mini Crab Cakes: Crab Meat, Sauce (Soybean Oil, Water, Egg, Acetic Acid, Sugar, Salt, Worcestershire Sauce [malt Vinegar, Spirit Vinegar, Molasses, Sugar, Salt, Anchovies, Tamarind Extract, Onions, Garlic, Spice, Spice Flavor], Mustard Powder, Xanthan Gum And Tara Gum [stabilizers], Breadcrumbs (Wheat Flour, Salt, Sugar, Yeast), Seafood Seasoning (Salt, Spices, Paprika), Parsley.
