You can bake your brie appetizer frozen or you can defrost in your refrigerator overnight. Follow the instructions below.
Standard Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F - position cooking racks at optimal levels. Remove outer plastic packaging and place brie appetizer on a pie tin (ideal) or cookie sheet (with an edge) lined with the parchment paper (included). If you would like the puff pastry on your baked brie to have a shine or glossy finish when baked, you can brush your brie pastry with a thin coating of egg white & water. This is optional. (Your brie appetizer will look beautiful without it!) Place your brie appetizer on oven rack that is positioned in the middle of the oven. (Avoid the very bottom position in the oven as to not burn the bottom of the appetizer.) Cook the brie for about 35 minutes if defrosted or 45 minutes if frozen, or until the outer puff pastry reaches your desired level of golden brown. Baking time will vary by oven - keep a close eye on the brie during the cooking process to ensure you don't go beyond "golden" brown - this is a hot oven. Remove your baked brie appetizer from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Slide brie off the pie tin onto desired serving plate or platter. Don't worry if some of the cheese oozes out! It's all melted cheese goodness. If brie does leak out it will collect around the base of the appetizer and you should scoop it up and serve.
