Authentic Blue Stilton™ Cheese, nearly 300 years old, is handmade exclusively in the English counties of Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, and Derbyshire. Blue Stilton's sharp, sweet flavors and creamy texture produce a pungent cheese that’s world renowned. Only a handful of dairies, using the original centuries-old recipe, are licensed to produce this "King of Cheeses".

So esteemed is Stilton's unique flavor and texture, it is the only British cheese with its own trademark. Its unique flavor is incredibly versatile, making it great in savory dishes, as an elegant appetizer, or old-world dessert when paired with ripe fruits like pears and dried apricots.

With its pungent cheese flavor, Stilton pairs very well with both sweet and savory flavors. For a cocktail party or other celebration, pair with our Cheese Stuffed Brioche, Pastry Blossoms, or create a traditional English cheese board with our British Cheese Collection

Imported from England, the Blue Stilton cheese arrives in a beautiful reusable ceramic pot, with 8 oz. of cheese inside.

Serving Tips: To bring true flavor of Stilton on a cheese board or for snacking, allow the cheese to reach room temperature before serving. Try serving with a plum bread or a mango chutney. Full bodied or sweet wines complement Stilton's unique taste.

Cooking Tips:

  • For a savory dip or salad dressing, crumble a few ounces of Stilton and with a fork mix in enough plain yogurt to give desired consistency. Add seasonings and lemon juice according to taste.
  • Beat some Stilton with half its weight of butter, a little milk, pinch of mace and some sherry to a smooth paste. Press into individual pots, chill well and serve with crudites.
  • Mix some Stilton with a little mayonnaise and a few halved, seeded grapes or some pineapple and use to fill a halved avocado pear.
