Smoked Salmon
Mackenzie Limited's brand of premium Scottish Smoked Salmon is produced in our own private smokehouses located in the Shetland Islands on the Northeast region of Scotland. Our farm-raised Atlantic salmon is harvested from the deepest waters of the Atlantic where the king of fish develops its noteworthy flavor and texture.
Each Mackenzie Smoked Salmon fillet is brined with a low-salt dry cure then smoked in small batches in oak chips and sawdust from single malt Scottish whiskey barrels. Prior to packaging, each smoked salmon fillet is fully trimmed with the brown meat removed, for a premium cut.
