This is the original holiday (and mackenzie staff) favorite brought to gourmet greatness. Fresh pole beans paired with crimini and shitake mushrooms are draped in a rich bechamel sauce. Punched up with a judicious addition of aged Madeira and topped with fried shallots, this is highly addictive and seriously gourmet. Serves 8.
